I have seen a new trend going around the PM community, and can I just say it's by far the most impressive trend I've seen yet: Positivity.

I've seen a lot of positivity in the photo manip community lately, whether it be through groups or just personal projects and kindness to others and it makes me so proud to be apart of our community. I want to share a lot of the wonderful positive things I've seen lately, and I want you to share them with as many people you know.
I want you all to do a few things today:
Tell someone you love them, or how pretty or handsome they are, smile at someone, hug the closest person to you even if they are a stranger. You have no idea how much power you have. Even a simple smile can turn around someones day.

Let's keep this positivity going around! Online AND offline!

It was 1st and 3rd weekend till March, but, we want to pay tribute to the fact, that many of us have gardening season coming up and as well like to spend more time outside than in front of a pc

2014 Positivity Project So after my post last night I started thinking; positive thinking; I want to do something to promote positivity throughout the world, not just in my life so I decided to start a 2014 Positivity Project using a tumblr blog and hopefully make it grow more throughout the year.

What? The whole point of this project is to spread positivity through photographing inspirational/positive/motivational/uplifting quotes written on paper

What do you wish for when you're on deviantART?
Whether it's subscription, points, or art prints, here is your opportunity to get it and maybe also help out the photomanipulation community.
The Photomanip Wishlist project will allow members of the photomanipulation community (ONLY! sorry, but there are similar projects for other communities) to make wishes in the hopes that they will be fulfilled.
It will also allow members of the photomanipulation community to fulfill the wishes of others, either directly or anonymously.
What can I wish for?
Wishes can be almost anything. Here are some examples of things you can wish for:

Shout-Out ProjectThe "inspiration" idea has been somewhat altered.
Is there a deviant that means a lot to you, someone who inspires you or is a great friend you can rely on? Were you never really sure of how to say "thank you" for what they do/have done for you?
Why not give them a shout-out?
Post a heart-felt journal (something much more in-depth than a regular feature) dedicated to them, stating what you are thankful for (or how they helped you, how much they inspire you, or just how they're an all-around amazing person), and maybe include some of their work or what they do in the community. The journal can summarize all that is awesome about them.

If you have a few deviants in mind and wanted to include them in the same journal, that is perfectly fine. And please don't feel pressured to be too personal; just write what you feel comfortable with.

If you'd like to get involved but wish to remain anonymous, I will gladly take notes and post journals with what you would like

What is this?
The Random Acts of Kindness (RAOK) project in the photomanipulation community is designed to help recognize photomanipulators who go out of their way to help other people.
The little things we do for others really do make a difference. Whether it's through featuring someone new, critiquing someone's work (in a positive way), providing mentorship, showing support through kind words and gestures, or anything else that brightens another deviant's day, we can all chip in for an even MORE awesome photomanipulation community.
We want to acknowledge deviants who go that extra mile.
How do I get involved?
Know someone who rocks? You can nominate them for RAOK recognition by sending a note to CRPhotomanipulation. We will choose one or two RAOK nominee(s) per month to recognize, although all nominees will be acknowledged. The winners will receive a small prize (very small-- we don't
