Well hello. It's been a while.

Some of you may have noticed I've been pretty MIA for a while, for a very long while.
Life just happens.

I just figured, it's about time for an update don't you think? My last journal entry was from what, almost 4 years ago? Yikes. I won't make it long, short and sweet, but just wanted to say hey I'm still alive.

There's no main reason why I haven't been around, other than the fact that I've just been busy.
After graduating art school, I stopped making manips. I hit a block that I just could never seem to get past. I stopped making art in general for while. Got a job, focused on bills and paying off school. Then I got engaged and moved across the U.S. to be with my fiancée who, if anyone here remembers my story at all, is the same guy I was in an online relationship with for many years. I've been here in Texas now for just over a year, got a new job, and will be getting married in about 4 months.

I dabble in art here and there. Paintings, drawings, making plushies, whatever eases my mind at the time. I do hope to get back into making manips at some point, but most likely not until I can afford a decent desktop for making them. My poor little almost 10 year old macbook pro just can't handle it anymore.

I still play video games though. My fiancée and I stream on twitch once in a blue moon. You guys are welcome to check it out. My twitch & My Fiancée's twitch. We mainly stream on his twitch though.

Well that's the gist of it. If anyone out there even remembers me, feel free to say hello. I do pop on once a month.

Finally made the big update! + New Year Resolution

So I know most of you won't care, but for you Mac users out there I was at OS X 10.6.8 for a good 2 years (possibly more? has it really been that long??). I have finally updated to the newest El Capitan 10.11.2 ! I am so excited!! It looks SOO different! I am currently updating everything. Is there anything I need to know about it? I still have to go around and fix some of my old habits back (anyone know how to switch the way the scroll wheel scrolls (aka instead of me scrolling down and the page scrolls up, make it inverted?)

Anyway, that's exciting because now I'll be able to stream some games (I.E. Minecraft) on twitch which I've been wanting to do for a long time. Feel free to check out my twitch if you'd like! mwahaha shameless plug.

I hope everyone has a wonderful New Year! I've been super sick the past few days, so hopefully I'm getting rid of sickness now to be healthy for the new year!

As for my New Year Resolutions, I'm trying to be more open about them. Goals that I can accomplish throughout the year - not just at the beginning.

Of course there are the basics;

Lose Weight

Eat Healthier

Stop procrastinating

Get better sleep

Be less stressed

and then there are newer ones;

Be more confident

Move out with BF (corresponds with being more confident in my case)

Find a full time job that I will be happy with

Be more outgoing

Meet new friends

Take better care of myself

Put myself out there

Be a better me

Corrupted OS, No Photoshop, Christmas.

So about a week and half ago, my computer decided it wanted to take a shit. One day my computer decided it wanted to freeze up so badly I had to force restart it. In turn, it decided it didn't want to boot up at all. Bye bye Mac. At least my boot camp of Windows still worked, however I was Photoshop-less. A week later, Windows froze. Restart, nothing. *Sigh* I ended up having to format the disks and reinstall my original OS X. And then reinstall the upgrade OS X. And now I'm installing another update for the OS X.

My only problem is now, I am still Photoshop-less. I have my old Creative Suite disks, but I have no clue where the product code is. Fingers crossed I can somehow magically get Photoshop back without having to cut of an arm and a leg for a new version of it?!

I guess beggars can't be choosers right? I still have a client hounding me for their photo edits, so I'll have to figure out a free program temporarily. Any suggestions?

Is everyone ready for Christmas?? I'm not hahaha. I still have SO many gifts to buy for everyone and packages to ship out! We have what, only a week and some odd days? YIKES!

What are you thankful for?

There are many of us, myself included, that have to work today for those that want to get their Chrismas shopping done, and although I don't mind picking up the extra hours I got pretty upset about it the other day. But I've come to a realization that I still get to spend an hour or two with my family and that's more then what other people get to do. I think it's important to remember how lucky we are to be able to celebrate a day like to today surrounded by loved ones.

However that being said, please remember to be kind to anyone that has to work today; whether that be in retail, hospitals, police, firefighters, truck drivers, etc.

There are many things that I am thankful for on a day like today:
• My family
• My friends
• My boyfriend
• My kitty
• My job
• My good health
• My freedom
• My education
And of course, I am thankful for each and everyone of you guys. The amount of love and support you guys show me has played a huge impact on my life and inspires me everyday.
